Pauli was injured in reserves, only played 15-20 mins, coach didn't sound convincing he would be right, Yates is a goer but not in firsts as a regular, injury replacement, game here or there

I'd give Braidie Smith a run.
I think Brown would have used him in the early rounds if he hadn't needed a shoulder reconstruction right at the end of the pre season, because he was training as well as Yates and Sam Stone.
He has been back for about 5 games now and is going from strength to strength - he did 52 tackles a few weeks ago, and he's one of those guys who just loves to tackle hard.
Not sure who you drop to give him a run, but I reckon Brown would like to.

He could be a straight swap for Yates, could he play anywhere in the pack, even prop in your opinion
Smith played some prop in NYC, but he also plays centre, and the first time I ever saw him in NYC he played wing for his first half dozen games. Second row is his main position now, but he'll have a go at anything. He is built a bit like Sam Stone, slightly shorter and slightly heavier.

Early Mail from the DT

Saturday 15 July, 5.30pm at McDonald Jones Stadium

Knights:

Dane Gagai is the only player backing up from Origin. Shaun Kenny-Dowall (hamstring) is a chance of making his club debut, with Joe Wardle the man likely to make way. Sione Mata’utia has been cleared of a fractured finger.

Broncos:

Ben Hunt, Josh McGuire and Matt Gillett back up from Origin. David Mead (knee, round 22) and Herman Ese’ese (knee, round 21) are out injured. Anthony Milford (shoulder) is edging closer to a return — don’t be surprised to see him somewhere on the team sheet.

I don't like this match up for us, the Broncos right side attack v our left side defence is giving me nightmares ......

Really hope the twins knock Korbin out .....

Coach saying the named 17 will be unchanged except for Gagai returning, but not saying who Gagai will replace, although he did say Chanel will be in for sure.
Also said Sio will be in the 21 and could play, pending fitness, and Sione will be named, but not 100% certain to play.
I'd guess either Wardle or Elliot out for Gagai - i'd drop Wardle, but Brown will probably drop Elliot.

Gagai replaces Wardle at centre
Wardle replaces Paea on the bench

Stone, Randell, Gagan and Paea in the 21.
