You rate Starling that highly Billy?
Starling is the best NYC player I've seen for the Knights. There is a huge question mark over if he'll be big enough to make it in the top grade, but at under 20s level he is our best player in attack and our best player in defence for 80 minutes. Levi only played 80 minutes in NYC a few times in his last year, and even then he had to change his game to have the gas to go 80. He typically played 40 or 50 minutes and made 20 to 25 tackles. He would often run 100 metres from dummy half in those short minutes and have huge impact. Starling as a 17 year old could go 80 minutes, make 40+ tackles and run 100 metres +.

was Bedsy was nyc at some stage:shrug:
NYC went from 2007 till 2017, which is a shame because we won the minor premiership in under 20s in 2006 with players like Snowden, Mullen, McManus, Dureau, Walsh, Uate. 13 of the 2006 squad went on to play firstgrade - some only one game like Steve Gordon - others like Cory Paterson and Luke Walsh and Uate and Jonathon Wright are still kicking around.

Thanks Billy i always watched and found this football very entertaining but never really looked at what they called it. Has it gone back to jersey flegg or called something else again

This year under 20s is Jersey Flegg.
It's NSW based only.
I notice we have picked up players from the Titans, Broncos and about 3 or 4 from Melbourne and suspect other NSW clubs might have done the same (I haven't checked).
It will be played over 70 minutes - same as under 18s, but it will have the same number of games as NSW cup.
