    1. Ponga.

    2. Lee.

    3. Ramien.

    4. Sione/Moga.

    5. SKD.

    6. Watson.

    7. Pearce.

    8. Glasby.

    9. Levi.

    10. Dan Safiti.

    11. Guerra.

    12. Fitzgibbon.

    13. Ese Ese.

    14. ????

    15. Mitchell Barnett.

    16. Sione/Buhrer(If we don’t sign a replacement hooker)
    17. ?????
At the moment this is what we have for a good team next year, so to me we are short a minimum of 2 decent props, we have King, Jafiti???? As back up props, possibly Psaulo may step up, a backup hooker and a backup halves are musts, we now have 1 legitimate hooker on the books with Slade down, Lamb has shown he can't keep up with the pace of the game in first grade in anything but a dreadful team, and backs we need at least another first grade back as I reckon we can cope with Ross and Sio coming in if required.

Hopefully this season see's the usual hatchet jobs at all clubs in the post season and a few people become available. No doubt we'll see quite a few left field signings.

    A new coach.

Not leaking 30 points a game.

PS. Brown says sione won't be centre.

We don't have the injuries we have and we have another 4 wins on the board easy.

To be a contender next year - A miracle.

The goal for next year should be to make the finals. We are probably 2-5 more years away from genuinely being a contender.

Every team has injuries. Going into a season with NSW Cup players for depth doesn't work.

Have a look at who the Panthers had out for about 2 months at the start of the year, it was over half their best side.

Until we stop conceding almost 30 a game it's pointless thinking about what else we need.

    One that can coach defence.

I think Pearce and Ponga could pull points out of nowhere with me coaching.

    Geez slots,

You know we need more players!
You know we have a huge injury toll!
    You know we leak point!
You know we aint scoring points to right?

Our full strength line up can compete, add another 5 players that are able first grade players and things will look much better for us in 2019.

Isn't the coaches job to make players better? Why is the only answer "buy more players".
He's been here three years, who has he developed?

    Every team cops injuries.

We need to have a very different off season.
Our last off season was basically playing full on games every week and doing recovery most of the week to get over the games.
We probably needed to do that because we bought a whole new team and needed to form combinations, but next off season we need to make our players bigger, fitter and faster, and you do that by spending most of the off season training like athletes, not bashing each other up one day a week and recovering the rest of the week.

Jason Ryles is highly thought of by the knights staff and brownie (likewise by bellamy and the storm). He is only coaching the forwards at Melbourne but the talk was he'd be involved in a higher capacity here as a direct assistant.

Haven't heard much on it since then

It is hard to make a wish list and when the market is constantly changing (for example this time last year no one would have guessed we would be serious contenders to land Pearce)
So with that said I don't mind the clubs strategy to build around him and Ponga and plug holes from reserves or through other clubs (like picking Ramien)

If Klemmer is serious about parting ways with the bulldogs to help ease salary cap pressure then that would be number one on the wish list of high profile free agents.

Otherwise just hope for a bit more luck with injuries next year
