To me this is good news. Tony Satiny was outstanding in the grand finale and would be a good buy as a back up player. Jeremy Hawkins would be good as he is learning off players like Cam smith, finucine,Cronk, skater,Bromwich and he goes alright to.

Satini scored 4 against PNG. Also scored 1 in the final agaist Wyong I think. He's reasonably quick for a big man too. Both would be handy depth signings.

Satini would be a great depth buy. Haven’t seen too much of Hawkins though.

Garth Brennan is set to be announced as the new Titans coach today. You'd think if Satini is any good he'll take him with him.

I'd guess that depends on whether he rates the centre's already at the titans...

I heard Henry asked Hayne to drop a few kilos in the pre season and he basically told him no, would also refuse to join in on sprint training etc.

I agree he's a freakish talent and rate him too on his day, but Hayne's ego and selective application of effort and teamwork are poisonous unless he can be appropriately managed.

Brennan has a hell of a task ahead of him, 2018 will be a good opportunity to blood a younger player like Santini to step into Hayne's position when he's inevitably released.

If that's Brennan's mindset it could take a decent play and likely first grade spot to get him to come here.

We don't want the plane he is a real coach killer. For mine I do not think Browny nor Mooney would want him anywhere near the place. Go and look at Courier Mail from the time. He and his 'little band' telling the Club and posing for photos 'either Arthur goes or we go'.

From memory he has gone through about seven or eight in his career, and if he so outstandingly good, what has his Club's won?

Agreed. I'd rather have my vasectomy repeated daily for the duration of a contract if he came to a club I supported.

Brennan has said he wont poach any players from Penrith so Satini may still be an option for us

Doesn't mean he won't choose to go to Titans

I wouldn't lose any sleep if Tagatese come on board too. I reckon he could add a bit of starch up front
