Anything below 8th will be a fail unless we have a really good excuse.

    Thoughts?

I reckon we will come in somewhere in the 6-10 range.

Coach is only as good as his players, at this stage we are no stronger in the pack than this year, Backs look better, some backup not so good, we look like being just as competitive as this season gone with improvement if injuries allow, still need a prop or two and a fit DanS and JSaf, at best sneak into 8 but more competitive in every game.

A pass would be a par on results 12 wins 12 losses
And a for and against that's at least 100 pts better than 2018

As long as we are competitive every time we hit the paddock- if injuries are kind to us we may finish a couple of wins closer to the 8.
Other sides are buying well and some sides below us will definitely finish higher than they did this year.
We really need at least one big mobile prop and a new defensive attitude to finish higher than this year.

100% finals has to be the goal. If we are struggling mid year I suspect we may have a new coach

    If we don’t make the 8 it’s a fail. It’s a must next year.

With the backs and halves we have are anything to go by we should be able to do some great attacking plays and styles. Defence and making ground is the issue for us. If we can't get decent pigs having these great backs is useless. If we can snag a decent prop or our current crop step up massively we are a top 8 side.

If we end up with a vave and co we will dwindle around the 10th mark I reckon.
Pass mark is aiming for even wins and losses the same as what 88 said. Anything better then that and things will be definitely on the up.

A pass mark will be not conceding 30 a game. Fix that we make the 8.

Same as every year - making the 8 is a pass.
Making the 4 is a credit.
Making the GF is a distinction

At this time we have basically the same forward pack plus a few new backs, back up/reserves are basically the same with a little bit of depth, backs again are we really ready, at this stage, for an improvement, we need forwards to give the backs a chance to show, at this stage we finish 10-12 barring injuries

Beating Manly twice again would be a HD.
