Would say yes but heard the Roosters have already pulled the coup, Guess they need someone to fill in for the most overrated prop in the NRL in JWH when hes suspended.

I mentioned this last week that we should be putting an offer in. He is exactly what we need!
It's the same old story with the Rorters, how could they even be anywhere near cap compliant if they were to snag him! You would think he would be pulling at least 700K.

Would have him in a heartbeat, but yeah course the Roosters already have their eyes on the prize with their unlimited cap space.

Don't see him leaving Sydney and let's face it the Roosters don't have a Salary Cap so they will probably get him

I would say yes to him too ...Although when i went on the manly forum after we beat them more than half of them wanted to get rid of him because of the amount of dropped balls and penalties he gives away and he made a lot of meters against us but he did drop the ball a lot and gave away a few penalties too ...I would still take him though ...

A lot of our players drop the ball and give away penalties too.. they don’t make 200+ metres several times though.

Taupau is what we need, I personally don't rate him high but, he would bring that enthusiasm to the pack which would result in a overall improvement in our quieter types, drops a few balls, gives away a few penalties but makes a lot more than a few metres, he is scary

As i mentioned in the manly game thread,
The errors he made came from putting in 120% to lift the team around him.
Ran himself into the ground that night and to be called out by the manly fans is a joke.
280m he made, that is 70% of our whole starting pack that night lol

Trent Barrett says he is going nowhere

“He’s here for another three years after this,” Barrett told foxsports.com.au.

“There’s no issue around that, contrary to a lot of media reports we are well under the cap.

“We don’t have to move anyone on … we won’t be moving Marty and there is no one in that side moving.”

“I think when salary cap stuff comes up, other club’s will try and pick the eyes out of your best players and obviously he’s one of them.”

"Well under the cap" but shopping Uate around amongst various other players and getting a special exemption for Suli to play...yep

Almost as cursed as saying a coach has the full support of the board haha

On his day, he’s one of the most damaging forwards in the game. His game isn’t without flaws, but he’s a really good one. Doesn’t sound like he’s going anywhere but.

    Uate is off contract.
Suli signed on a minimum contract, the request was due to him being sacked by 2 clubs in 4mths.

They are meant to be playing under the cap to pay back the cap from previous years, not sure on how much a year though.

I'd have this guy in a heartbeat. He is exactly the type of forward we need.

    We are no chance though.

More chance of Winx being beaten than us ending up with Taupau.
