As I said in the other thread Ramien will 1000% be right centre in 2019, and it's good to have options for the left spot.

Good utility value as he can cover left centre and 5/8.

Returning guys from ESL have had mixed results, lets hope if we sign him its more of a 'Blake Green' type return than a 'Michael Dobson' one

He was a fringe first grader in his prime so I can't see him making a real impact. However if hes playing for peanuts he'll be good depth

Saw Allwood play for the first time against Wyong the other day.
He didn't have a fantastic game after months off with injury and he is smaller than I thought, but you could see by the way he wrestled that he could play a higher level.
Seems about the same as Pete Mataútia when he gets fit.

Wonder if we’re still interested in this bloke. Hasn’t played NRL in 7 years but wouldn’t hurt for depth in the halves/centres.

Money is nothing to do with ability, to many accountants on here and not enough talent scouts

In rugby league money has everything to do with ability!
General rule of thumb, the more ability you have, the more money clubs are willing to pay you!

I didn't mind him tbh. I wanted to see him play a bit more fullback.

Me too, I was disappointed when he wasn't resigned.

Even Pete is a better defender than Denniss is at this stage in his career. Pete would have come in useful this year.

Letting both Pete and Elliott go was difficult to understand, good backup for what we had even if only kept one, wasn't like cap was a problem and those wing/centres playing reserves including Denniss aren't doing as good a job as they would have. Only decent players in reserve back 1-5 are Meaney (gone) and Hughes don't think any others will amount to anything but back up for reserves.
Fortunately next year we could see Ross, Denniss, Sio all back in reserves permanently

Things are grim if we're remembering Pete and Elliott fondly

Elliot wasn't even bad. Perfect depth player, no real reason to not give him an offer. Pete on the other hand thought of himself as a first-grader so he chose to leave himself.

The problem is that most fringe first graders want security in a 2 yr contract. The club wouldnt want to offer more than one year due to the cash in the bank that we wanted to sign players with.
