Beau Fermor has resigned for 2 more years.

Looks like a younger version of Fitz, but plays different. He has good enough footwork and speed to be a very good centre if they want to go that way with him, but he's also strong enough and a good enough defender to play second row.
I think he played 6 games of reserve grade - 3 at centre and 3 at second row - and went well in both positions.
hard to say where he will be best.
I have only seen him play one game he played 2nd row that day and was a handful for the opposition every time he touched the ball.
Knights re-sign 20s Player of the Year

Beau Fermor has extended his contract with the nib Newcastle Knights.
The Jersey Flegg Play of the Year has agreed to a new two-year-deal.
"I'm stoked," Fermor said.
"I've loved every minute since moving here and thrilled to be staying for another two years.
"My goals for next season are to get in with the NRL boys and learn and hopefully push for my NRL debut."
Having joined the Knights in 2018 from the Melbourne system, Fermor wasted no time finding his feet.
The 20-year-old capped off an outstanding debut season for the Knights by being named NSW Rugby League and Newcastle Jersey Flegg player of the year.
He also represented Queensland in the 20s Origin series and will join the NRL squad in 2019.
Knights Player List Manager Troy Pezet said there's a lot to like about the backrower.
"Beau has it all," Pezet said.
"He's a big body who runs hard and can break the line.
"He's a fearless runner who holds his own in defence. He joined us from the Storm and has been a standout. We're thrilled he's staying with us for another two seasons."
Fermor finished the 20s competition as the leading try scorer.
The new deal keeps him with the Club until at least the end of 2020.
You can make a pretty good pack out of the 19/20 year olds training with firstgrade today.
Fermor might make huge strides in his first firstgrade off season, but the one I most want to see in a trial is big Jirah Momoisea. He has only been playing league for 2 years and he improved every game in 2018, finishing the year as a semi regular in reserve grade. He had a massive run in the last NYC final - as good as any Saulo did all year, and the equal of players like Tilse, Woolnough or Anthony Tupou did for us in under 20s. Jirah could make the sort of gains the Saifitis did in their first pre seasons. He is just about as big as them, and even less experienced than they were as 19 year olds.
Psaulo seems to have fallen off the radar with everyone?
Hard to judge him on 2018.
He was clearly injured in about our second opposed training game and was still hobbling about when not playing at the end of the season.
If two months off has let him finally get fit, he could have a great pre season. He seems very motivated to make some money for his young family.
I said this kid is the best player in our junior system to go on to be a NRL player.
By 2020 he'll be taking Guerra starting spot and I have no doubts about that.
So is he still one of our development players, or number 26 of our top 30?
Defiantly development still ATM, but he'll kick on massively imo
Never seen Fermor play. Hopefully there’s a highlights package on You Tube. By the sounds of his attributes he could be good cover for Centre next year which I suspect may still be a problem position subject to Moga’s fitness and form.
The above link to his interview shows 5 or 6 of his tries - but not my favourite one.
His profile is up with the NRL boys, if that means anything?
Guerra ain’t a prop though bro. Fermor maybe though.
How long is Guerra with us for I can see another 2 years and his done at top level and maybe another 12 months transitioning to a couch where he will kill it I reckon.
Had to read a couple of times but 88 meant Fermor.
I noticed that once I posted. Thought he was talking about Saulo from the above convo.
Fermor is a great talent and should play plenty of First Grade. Still think Kurtis Dark is better all round player. Hopefully he’ll kick on aswell.
Someone said in another thread that Dark has gone to Norths - so second tier for Souths.
Prop? The guy could be a gun centre or backrower, I'd never waste him at prop.
Edit. Read the posts above, should of put Fermor in my first line haha.
