An absolutely stunning result in the first QF between Australia and England !!!

We were bowled out for a meager 127 in just 33.3 overs

With seemingly no hope of winning Young leggie Lloyd Pope destroyed England by taking an incredible 8/35 from 9.4 overs

England were all out for 96 from just 23.4 overs !!!

Those are the best figures ever recorded by a bowler at the U19 CWC beating the previous record held by fellow Aussie Jason Ralston (7/15) which was recorded just 4 days ago !!

Toronto boy Jason Sangha top scored for Australia with 58.
He was also captain, and being a leg spinner himself, would have known how to set a field for a leg spinner.

It was an incredible game. Sangha led a real fight back from 6/65 and 127 was a fair result from where they were.

The Poms were celebrating the QF win before they got the Aussies out alas and got bitten on the bum big time.

Pope has an excellent wrong-un, the Poms looked all at sea against him.

I hope he kicks on and becomes a test spinner for us when Lyon retires.

Pope has to work on his accuracy.
He had good spin both ways and loop and drift happening, but even the balls that took wickets were all over the place.

The chokers have done it again! They were dismal against that great cricketing nation Afghanistan! India had a fair battle also.

roughie if we could have picked the quadrella for the Q/F's we would be rolling in dough

We got smashed in the final, Can't say I'm surprised as India looked the best team all tournament

We were all out for 216 and India chased it down in 38.5 overs and only lost 2 wickets
