On the Test side for Sunday roughie, who would credit Peter Siddle back as a strike bowler? And some of those names did not do well in State games last season. Good luck with them Tim!

Siddle has been a great bowler over his career but I would of preferred seeing someone else

Siddle wouldn't even come into consideration if I was picking the team tbh

Chris Tremain was player of the year in last years Sheffield Shield and highest wicket taker with 51 wickets

Jackson Bird took 37 wickets in 8 games last year as well and has 290 first class wickets

Not sure who Chadd Sayers pissed off but he seems to be blacklisted

    Pakistan 0/199 at tea

It's 37 degrees on a pitch that may as well be a slab of cement in front of a non existent crowd

This why Test cricket is in decline

Stumps on day 1 and Pakistan are 3/255

It was a good fightback by Australia, In that last session we kept them to 3/56 off 29 overs

Starc really tried his heart out today in shocking conditions, He finished with 0/66 of 21 overs and was bowling at 140kph+ all day

Mohammad Hafeez played a superb knock as well with his 126

At least it sets up an interesting day 2

It was a huge crowd roughie. Twenty and two dogs!

Just can't understand playing poor old Siddle as the only pace bowler with Starc and two spinners. Fear this ain't gunna finish at all well.

roughie our batsmen have to do what the Pakis do so well in Dubai. Play themselves well and truly in before attacking the bowling. Abbas has scored 1 run from 22 deliveries and Sohail 19 from 67 balls.

I think with so many one day and T20 batsmen in the side, they lash out way, way too early à là David Warner style and pay the penalty.

    We've lost this test.

I'm wondering if Cricket Australia is regretting suspending our 2 best batsman and Bancroft.

It might be a long hard summer for our male cricketers.

But just what was expected roughie. Is a disgrace after the way Finch and Ushman set up for a big score with 140 for the first wicket and 62 for the next nine.

    Too much T20 mind set.
