From Fox Sports

QUEENSLAND front-rower Jarrod Wallace has reached an unwanted milestone, that proves he is in danger of being dropped for Game III.

Pete Badel revealed the embarrassing stat to Fox Sport’s NRL Tonight.

“This is an unenviable statistic, he is the only starting prop in Queensland’s past 20 years, that has run for fewer than 50 metres on not one, not two, but three occasions,” Pete Badel said.

Wallace has been MIA at Origin level. Fire up son, it's Origin, no excuses to play such pea hearted performances when we know you can play well at club level.

The difference between his Origin performances and NRL is huge since debuting for QLD last year

Defensively he has been great but with ball in hand he has been completely ineffective

His problem is not his NRL stats but the standard of opposition he is running into at SOO. Two tackle breaks and zero offloads does not make good reading.

For mine Ryan James has always been a better player with more passion, but alas he just can't seem to crack a spot in the Blues.

NSW has a lot more depth in the forwards than QLD though. Wallace is pretty much the only decent, consistent performing prop they have, just hasn't translated it to Origin yet. If James was a Queenslander, he'd be in the side easily.

We basically sacked Brendan O'Hagan and he's made the NSW side.
Brodie Jones, Saulo, and Matt Croker are unlucky to miss out. They have all played in every age group for NSW and are all going well I thought. Tom Starling has a couple of really good guys ahead of him now.

Inglis out of Origin III

QRL Media
Sun 1 Jul 2018, 07:16 PM

The scheduled naming of the Queensland State of Origin team for Game III of this year's series has been delayed following a late injury to captain and centre Greg Inglis.

Inglis suffered a broken thumb in today's NRL clash between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and North Queensland Cowboys.

Maroons coaching staff and selectors have had to liaise this evening with the Rabbitohs club to confirm the injury and are organising a suitable replacement.

Due to this unforseen circumstance, naming of the team could be delayed possibly as late as the morning of Monday, July 2.

QRL Media apologises to fans on the delay, but will keep you updated as soon as the final team is confirmed.

Dont know how Wallace keeps a spot and Napa dropped....
Wallace was utterly useless.

Guessing De Belin, Frizell and Trbojevic will spend time at prop at different times and Klem to play more minutes

Either way when you look at those 2 packs....NSW will have a field day I reckon

Our forwards have smashed them in games 1 and 2, This will be no different

I think Sims best footy has been as a middle forward so I like the selection even thou I think Prior did a good job for us in game two. It’s interesting to see QLD put Wallace and Glasby on the bench I have always seen those guys as work rate front rowers that really need to start in order to get the best out of them. If NSW win the forward battle early I don’t think QLD have anyone on that bench that can change the momentum.
