My thoughts as well, except instead of cheering it'll be me just snickering at the opposition.

Thanks to our dumb media, who whinged about suburban grounds not being ideal finals locations in week 1, we get these idiotic ideas such as the Panthers playing a home game at ANZ in Week 1 of the finals. As if having this crappy finals system was bad enough (again thanks to media whinging).

As for who wins, take your pick between the top 4.

Interesting stats on the teams playing in this years finals series

4 Teams have a less than 50% win rate in finals games and the Broncos and Roosters only just over 50%

The Storm have been meters off side many times tonight and allowed to get away with it.

Refs were letting practically everything go and the game flowed well, one of the most entertaining games of footy all year, if not the most.

I get the refs have a crackdown etc but they are ruining the spectacle in the process.

    Great result for some roughie.

That Mr Clean has to be the most frustrating ref in the NRL. Two dud decisions granted the rabbits 10 points to try and keep them in it.

While we have seen some great footy I'm dissapointed with the crowd numbers, The scheduling was terrible

As a life long RL supporter it hurts to see 80,000 seat stadiums with less than 20,000 people

On a positive note the first ever NRLW game got a crowd of nearly 8,000

Don't wanna sound like a DT journo but these figures are a concern

Average crowd figure across the 3 games so far is just 19,687

That is just down on the same point last year (19,748)

    Friday

Storm play the Rabbitohs at AAMI park while just down the road Geelong play Melbourne at the MCG

Storm vs Rabbitohs attracted 17,306 people while the Cats vs Demons attracts 91,767 fans

    Saturday

The Panthers play the Warriors at ANZ and attract a crowd of just 17,168 in a Stadium that fits 84,000

Afterwards the Roosters are at home to the Sharks in an all Sydney showdown at Allianz Stadium (which fits around 45,000), The game attracts just 24,588 people

On the same night at the SCG we have the Sydney Derby between the Swans and GWS which attracts a whopping 40,350 people

If only we were in the finals, those crowd numbers would look a whole lot better. Real shame especially seeing as it’s the start of finals.

Looking like the Storm will be the only non Nsw team left in the finals.

    I’m loving watching Brisbane crumble.

I wonder how long it will be before Bennett is sacked!

Hoping the Drags can hold on. Geez, poor Widdop though. Wasn’t easy to watch the arm dangling there.
