Ponga has breakout season. Impresses people with how developed his game is for someone his age. Has very few teething problems. Has his name thrown up for a spot on the wing for QLD

Origin: NSW blood fresh players & win 2-1, QLD looking tired with big retirements & forwards too small, NSW media get carried away claiming a new dynasty

Grand Final: Roosters vs Eels, Roosters premiers

    Wooden spoon: Raiders

    Dally M: Cooper Cronk

    Clive Churchill: Cooper Cronk

Top Try-scorer: Bevan French, 24 tries

All coaches survive, Trent Barrett close to sacked mid-year after poor results, but better form to finish the year & new signings coming on board in 2019 saves him.

Debuts: Pasami Saulo, Tom Hughes, Tom Starling, Brodie Jones, Brent Naden, Nick Meaney throughout the year for injuries

People are really underestimating the loss of Cronk. Croft isnt Cronk.

Agreed, Cronk was superb for them. But as long as they have Smith leading them around and Bellyache in the coaches box they're going to be tough to beat.
Croft and Munster will only get better. There'll be a few rough patches, but unfortunately I don't think the Storm will fall too far off the pace.

On Cronk, I doubt his impact at the Roosters will be anywhere as significant without Smith feeding him the ball. No more premierships for him I'm confident to predict.

Cronk's decline was alarming last year. Storm will be fine. Roosters might have bought a dud though.

I'm with you slots. The Storm will be so well drilled one won't even notice the change.

Disappointed you would not name your prediction Kenny. We could all say what you said and at season's end say 'Well they were among my fifteen'.
