Since England don't have a spinner worth a pinch of ****, it will be a spinning pitch and we will name 2 spinners.

If Starc is out still they will go for Cummins, Hazlewood, Marsh, Lyon and Agar to bowl.
If Starc is available it will be Cummins, Hazlewood, Starc, Lyon and Agar - with Agar and Starc as bowling allrounders.
No place for Bird.

New rankings have been released so I have updated the first post

- Steve Smith has recorded the second highest rating ever (947 points) and now he is chasing Bradman's record of 961 points

- Alastair Cook has jumped 9 places and now sits 8th in the Batsman's rankings

- The top 9 bowlers haven't changed with the only change being Morne Morkel replacing Dale Steyn in the top 10

- Pat Cummins has moved up three places to 36th in the bowler's rankings

- Usman Khawaja dropped 8 places to 27th in the batsman's rankings

- Jackson Bird dropped 8 spots to 53rd in the bowlers rankings

- Shaun Marsh dropped 4 places to 31st in the batsman's rankings

Agar is an average bowler (in the longer form of the game anyway). Should focus on his batting and become a batting all rounder. He really shouldn’t be anywhere near the Test team tbh.

Odd way to say it.
The pitch was so good, it was poor.

The Perth pitch had cracks a mile wide and ball were turning sideways out of the cracks. I suppose that one was so bad, it was good.
