we really miss the work rate of Buhrer and Barnett.
Tupou Paea Mataora and Wardle are guys we need to use more, at least while Kosty, Buhrer and Barnett are not available.
The young guys just don't have the minutes in them. Pauli too I think.

TBH he and Lamb did nothing and our entire attack inside the opps ten consists of one outs buy our tired, dominated forwards.
 
Instead of Jaelen I would chuck in will Pearsall he goes a lot better than feeney

I think Pearsall has been out injured. Shoulder surgery if I remember rightly.

At 189 cms or 6'2" in the old coinage, he is a bit of a beanpole but I agree beau. Start him at 5/8 and Lamb to half. Better to see what he has got now he is 22.

Not like this will make us miss the eight, is it?
 
Pearsall plays at 5/8 every week in reserves and does the majority of the kicking, even when Feeney plays.
He doesn't have the speed of Feeney, but is a tough defender for a half.
Till Kosty and Cogger are back, he might be our best option.
 
i think we will see hodkinson back next game, with the way our squad looks he isnt going to sit in reserve grade long no matter how bad he is playing

A safe defender and regular kicker sounds so much better than Feeney.

Hopefully Brown will pick him to play the Raiders.

At the start of the year I thought the halves was the least of our problems how things have changed .....

I'd stick with Stone myself but yes he needs to get more involved with the ball ......

We'd be such a better side with Rory and Burher back ......

We desperately need some mid season signings .....
 
A lot of people thought our forward pack was sweet as well. I've given up on having hope for our forward pack, every single year we add a bit of depth to it with juniors & a signing or two, & you think look at how much depth we have, we're finally gonna have a decent forward pack this year, only for us to get to the season & get pummeled every game in the forwards again.
