How do you change the name of your display name...is there a way you can do it?

Thats only if you have a very good reason on why you want to change it!

I was also in a hurry when I joined MS and meant to type in Knightstragic instead of Knightsfreak. I would appreciate very much if my username could be changed to Knightstragic.

Why don't you just change it to something without the year in it, so that way you dont have to change it every year?

As mentioned on the first page of this thread, it's only if you have a good reason. Year changing isn't really a good reason.
