is uate or karawana playing nsw cup??????
Jonno_Knights

i rekon they both will be on standby for FG as it will leave the sharks guessing as to who plays where, it doesnt really affect our NSW cup side anyway as we are towards the bottom of the table even though i think we are only a win or 2 outside the 8 (only 12 teams though)

As I've said all season long, we have some good NYC players, though for whatever reason, it just doesn't seem to come together on the field.
Good to see the boys win in a blow out.

Bit of trivia regarding the NYC Game.
The Knights now own the National Youth Competition record for the Biggest Winning Margin (52).
Previous holder was the Bulldogs when they played CRONULLA. They won by 44 points back in Round 11.

Well cronullas biggest NYC prospect is Filinga and im pretty sure he is out injured, but i dont think he would have done much to change that scoreline. He has been tauted as the next SBW (they bought him from the dogs too). (was formaly known as Karl McNichol or sumthing like that too)

Isn't his name Karl Filiga ?
Anyhow, I thought Uate was over hyped, but this guy takes the cake, 600k contract over three years, hasn't played first grade, apparently the next SBW.
Spent most of last season and this season on the sidelines with injuries.

Yeah, his name's Karl Filiga (formely known as Karl McNichol), and he's out with a knee injury IIRC.
He was tauted as being the next SBW from Bulldogs fans, though his game's nothing like SBW's game is.
IMO, he's overrated, though he is talented and he does have potential.
On his contract, I don't know the exact numbers, though the numbers that were released in the media were overblown. He has incentives in his contract and basically he can earn up to like 180k a season or something, though considering he's only played in one FG game and I highly doubt he'll get selected for NZ or anything, I don't think he's going to earn anywhere near what he could have possibly earnt.
Basically, his contract is probably pretty similar to what Uate's is like I'd imagine. A bigger contract for a younger guy who hasn't necessarily proven anything, though has been tauted as a superstar of the future.
