Well Jeremy Maa is out, and Alex Brew has been out since mid season, so the guys i rate as our two best are not there for our biggest game.
Will Smith is out from halfback. I have been saying all season that Sullivan/Brown is a better combination than Smith/Sullivan, but again, switching now doesn't seem the best time.
I'd say we would be slight underdogs with a full strength side, and pretty big underdogs with key players out.

Just round the corner from my house.
A few of my mates are playing for Penrith before hand too so this should be a great day at the Western!
So are SG Ball knocked out?

Yea, and i think we finished 9th? Not sure, Roopy should be able to comfirm that.Yes - finished 9th - which was a very poor result for the team.
They gave a good account of themselves in games against the top sides while just losing, then dropped two or three games they should have won - and in the very short junior season you can't afford to do that.
The best player in the side, Jeremy Papamau, only played a few games because of injury, and i suspect he was below his best because he didn't score much.
On the positive side, i was very pleasently surprized at the talent on show - classy halfback Theeran Pearson from Queensland, half a dozen kids from NZ including Kharmichael Hunt's cousin Harmony Hunt and some quality Islander forwards, and local kids like Blake Birch, Chris Marlbough, Peter Mata'utai, Josh Aoilami and Jeremy Papamau - all in all, if the season had gone for 26 rounds and they had a good coach i think these kids would have really come together over the season.
I can see most of these guys having a shot at NYC either this year or next year.
edit . just looked it up and they were 9th going into the last round, but finished 11th - i haven't looked since i knew they couldn't make the 8.
Harmony, Karmichael... what is next?

He looks like a unit, a shame we cant see him play tomorrow.I saw him play in a trial and thought he couldn't defend to save his life despite looking very good in attack, but he had obviously never played at this level before and a few games later his defence had improved out of sight. He missed several games with injury, but the feeling i get is that this guy will improve as fast or faster than Schirnack did last season (Schirnack came from NZ last year and went from a benchie in Ball to our best forward in Flegg in a season).
If Hunt trains and maybe plays with NYC from now on he could make rapid progress, and his cousin played for Aus at a year older than he is now.

22-0. Number 7 Cutting them up the Middle.
Tyler Sullivan has been wasted at 5/8 all year, despite being our highest tryscorer i think.
Will Smith is a good defender and a hard worker, but Tyler Sullivan at 7 and Gene Brown at 6 gives us 10 times the attacking class than slow and predictable Smith.

What a way to get beaten, sooo close to making the GF. They scored 28 points in about 14 mins! Crazy!
Final update from AK:
Yep. Game of two halves. 34-28. 22-0 up, crazy! Oh well haha.
Ahh that game sucked so bad.
4 tries in 12 minutes!!!!
Although IMHO:
- Try that got it to 28-16 looked like he was out (I was in the corner and looked like Cooper took him over)
- The farqin ref at the end didn't help, penalty after penalty.
I must say though, future looks bright.
1st half the little hooker Knights tore them to shreads and Number 7 Sullivan just backed him up and set up good tries.
And can I just say the young female trainer for the Knights HM did a very good job with the boys.

Biggest choke I've ever heard of.
Biggest choke I've ever heard of.
Theyre 15-16. They will learn.
The game was about possesion. Both teams couldnt defend their own lines, it was just a matter of being up the other sides end of the field.
In the end, it levelled itself out.
Tyler Sullivan slots a conversion from the Sideline:

That is an awesome photo! Roopy has some competition!
It shows what an impressive looking guy the boy from Scone is too.
He is the nearest thing to Jarrod Mullen we have seen for a while - a genuine playmaker - a genuine athlete and tryscorer.
I've heard we nearly lost him because of homesickness and difficulty finding a place to live - and at one stage Jarrod's mum offered to put him up - which would have been funny.
That is an awesome photo! Roopy has some competition!
 I dunno about that, would have looked great front on. Boy he played well though... threw a Scott Dureau type ball to Richie Fa'aoso (when Faas knocked on vs Manly) and the 2nd rower wasnt even touched. Really laid a platform.
Abit of help... I'm thinking the 8 or 10?

Parra have gone on to win the grandfinal 30-17.
Pity we didn't get a pop at Penrith - we would have given them a run for their money.
PS - the picture below in Jarome Wilson - who's oldest brother Wendall went to Cronulla 3 years ago, second oldest brother Kruize is in the Melbourne NYC side this week, and next brother up Winston was great for Hunter Sports High last year, and i don't know why he wasn't in our Ball side this year.

The only Knight named in the NSW under 16s squad is Tyler Sullivan.
That is insulting to our boys IMO.
WTF! Parra won!
Macka will be fuming. (Penrith Ass. Coach)
Call last week a choke, Penrith are a choke.

If only we had held on last week! :( Thats a shame really.... After leading like that and loosing to the team which go on to take out the title.
By the sounds of it, Penrith must have been leading and Parra just steamrolled them like they did us last week.
Such a shame, adds more to the defeat last week. Penrith though, I can't believe it. I know about 4 of the guys in that side and they were heavy favourites.
Lost it last year too after racking up wins after wins only to go down to the dogs I think.

Penrith didn't play Newcastle or Parra during the season.
They had a soft draw.
Won't stop them getting two thirds of the forward spots in the rep team though, despite our guys being at least their equals in the forwards.
I can't believe we didn't get a single forward in the rep side despite totally dominating Parra in the forwards.
