The friday night double should be a good one, there are a few interesting games this week, some are going to be hard to pick. Titans and Raider always play better at home but are coming up against 2 red hot teams. Knights, Panthers battling to avoid the spoon should bring out the best in both sides, i think the panthers backing up after MNF will give us a slight advantage, especially if bedsy is back.

I wonder i the schedulers are regreting their decision to show the game sunday arvo, 15th V 16th lol.

Man, I'll say. Worst Sunday afternoon game on nine, maybe ever!

Very excited about the Storm vs Eels game. Hopefull the Eels wont be as useless as last week!

I think our games isnt quite the worst, better than first V last cause the winner would be quite obvious, at least penrith and newy are evenally matched, with plenty to play for. The skills might be down though, hopefully not for the knights though with bedsy and walsh back.

Is Hindmarsh back?? If he is that should be the game of the round. As for you guys saying sunday arvo will be bad, i think its a good game to show - battle for the wooden spoon, alots on the line and it should be a rippa

Yeah both sides have alot 2 prove and with some good players back 4 us it should be a ripper

its only really our last 5 weeks, being flogged by storm warriors and manly. the other two were round 3 and 10 V raiders and Bronx

This is unrelated but thought it was interesting..What do you guys think? Sharks turn on each other after win
Tuesday, August 14, 2007 - 7:46 PM

Cronulla players Paul Gallen, Reece Williams, Greg Bird and Dustin Cooper were involved in physical altercations with each other after celebrating the NRL club's win over Parramatta last Saturday night.

It has been alleged Gallen and Williams had a punch up while Bird and Cooper had to be pulled apart by teammates in separate incidents that occurred at former Shark Josh Hannay's house.

Gallen confirmed the incident had occurred but said everybody had moved on from the matter.

"Things got out of control but now we are best of mates down here and there was nothing in it," Gallen told the Nine Network

yeh i saw that, cooper stille making a names for himself even though he has been injured all season, he had big wraps when he came to Newy and did next to nothing, didnt play FG last yr, not sure if he was injured though, he has like an ankle injury now i think.

Bird and Gallen are like two of the biggest hot heads in the game to its no suprise that they got into a fight, its just funny that is was between each other and involving other teammates, at a players house who has been on the outer all yr.

The storm struggled in their win... and Doggies just got home..

That Brisbane Bulldogs game was a good one. I will be glad to see Brisbane missing the finals for the first time since 1991 (that's too many times in a row for any team), but they are going down with a fight. Bulldogs will challenge if they don't choke, I reckon. They have really turned it on recently. They are prone to finals choking though haha.

Yeah and I wanted melbourne 2 loss heaps and not make the GF. Still could happen i guess but they played a bit better then what they have been lately

knight-no-7
18-08-2007, 01:17 PM
They still struggled, if it wasnt for Cronks try saving tackle they would have lost..

They played better then what they did over the previous weeks

Jonno_Knights
18-08-2007, 06:46 PM
their defence is fine, its their attack that just isnt clicking. I hate it how they always win close low scoring games

Tigers get home by a point, 29-28 v sharks late comeback i think

Jonno_Knights
18-08-2007, 09:47 PM
yeh tigers were up 28-16 or sumthing like that,

Jonno_Knights
18-08-2007, 09:49 PM

18-08-2007, 09:49 PM
two close games goin on atm, both extremely important to where we are goin to finish on the ladder.

knight-no-7
18-08-2007, 09:56 PM
yea if Raiders and Dragons loose, and we win, we can go to 12th

Jonno_Knights
18-08-2007, 10:23 PM
dragons lost, raiders had a good comebak, look like winning 26-24, 2 minutes left

jamesgould
18-08-2007, 11:38 PM
That was a great win to Canberra. Hopefully Newcastle can show some of the spirit. Warriors can still make the top four, they just need the Bulldogs and Parra to both lose one of their last two.

Warriors are my tip to win the comp... I hope them or the dogs do. Parra aswell but I dont really want that happening. ie Hagan/Tahu

jamesgould
19-08-2007, 12:08 AM
Parramatta are no chance in the big games ... they have hardly beaten any decent sides all year. They have been consistent though, and beaten most of the sides they should have beaten.

Bedsey_is_the_best
19-08-2007, 11:01 AM
What the hell happened. I thought the warriors were the real deal but i think i will change that now.

Brogga
19-08-2007, 12:00 PM
Warriors lost at a good time. They went to sleep in parts of that game so it was a much needed wake up call. I still think they can go on and win the comp.

Bedsey_is_the_best
19-08-2007, 12:36 PM
I don't think they will. I dunno. 2 me it seems as though the standard of th top teams r closeing. Like at the begininbg of the year Storm were way in front bt now those tope 5, say storm, manly, eels, warriros and bulldogs are much closer in standards

knight-no-7
19-08-2007, 02:06 PM
Does any1 know when Wade Mckinnon (if thats how you spell it) is back? With him, they can win the comp. I agree with Alicia, I also wish, the dogs/warriors win, it would b awesome.

jamesgould
19-08-2007, 02:22 PM
Yeah, they missed McKinnon for sure.

19-08-2007, 06:44 PM
The major finals being played away from home are always going to hurt the warriors. Not saying they play terrible away like the raiders but it helps when a strong travelling fan base away from home. It has helped us over the years

jamesgould
19-08-2007, 08:18 PM
They have a pretty good finals record though. I wonder if Eric Watson will buy all those free tickets for people holding an NZ passport like he did in 02/03.

20-08-2007, 09:58 PM
Damn Rabbitos beat MANLY! that was a little bit of a shock. Manly self destructing?

Jonno_Knights
20-08-2007, 10:17 PM
looks like both Manly and Melbourne have played their best footy already, but as always they both will come good for the finals

seabass14
20-08-2007, 10:28 PM
I hope neither of them make the gand final!

Jonno_Knights
20-08-2007, 11:31 PM
it would good to see a team come out of the blew like the Tigs in 05, Parra were raging hot favourites that year with the dragons close behind

Bedsey_is_the_best
21-08-2007, 05:41 PM
Yeh i don't want melbourne 2 win. Lol james u said the warriors have a good finals record but they haven't played finals footy for 3-4 years (can't remember if they made it in '03) so it is hard 2 judge

jamesgould
21-08-2007, 06:15 PM
I just mean that playing away from home won't be as big a factor as people think. They made a grand final and a grand final qualifier in 20/03, yet only had one home final in that time.

Jonno_Knights
21-08-2007, 11:45 PM
yeh but a GF week might be a bit harder to cope with away from home, harder if faily and that cant make the trip.
